The group was founded in- France in 1989 and since that time, has involved 700 joung people between the ages of 12 and 22.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Their performances are multi-genre, incorporating rock and roll, reggae, jazz, and rap into concerts that involve an effort to promote civic values and counter racism according to the group&rsquo;s press release. They have recorded three CDs since 1994. This group of joung French singers arrived in the U.S. to perform and spread their message against racism across this country. They spent two days in Farmighton before heading to Boston for a series of performances.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0When the performers opened their mouths to sing, the sound that emerged was so gorgeous that people nearby wondered aloud if this was a group of angels that had come to catch everyone&rsquo;s soul.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The first half of the evening included a short performance of dancing and singing with the audience clapping their hands to the rythm. The rest of the show was absolutely thrilling, with the singers&rsquo;vocals raising goose bumps, often bringing the audience to their feet.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The intricate arrangements featured generous doses of bongo and keyboards &#8211; all well spotlighted by the excellent sound quality. But it was the group&rsquo;s voices that clearly was the main event. In addition to the group dancing and solo-singing performances, the performers&rsquo;smiles and passion on stage remained the distinctive pleasure.<\/td><td>\u00a0\u00a0Vendredi soir, \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 du Maine (Farmington, UMF), le public compos\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9tudiants et d&rsquo;habitu\u00e9s est tomb\u00e9 litt\u00e9ralement sous le charme de 10 gar\u00e7ons et filles, invit\u00e9s par l&rsquo;universit\u00e9, dansant et chantant d&rsquo;une voix claire et pure.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Le concert qui se tenait \u00e0 l&rsquo;auditorium Nordica de l&rsquo;UMF, \u00e9tait sponsoris\u00e9 par l&rsquo;association de philosophie et de th\u00e9ologie de l&rsquo;universit\u00e9, ainsi que par City Lights et la Fondation Cloud (Boston).<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Teenager est un groupe multiculturel de jeunes artistes venant de diff\u00e9rentes r\u00e9gions de France et de Tunisie, qui dansent, chantent et interpr\u00e8tent des sayn\u00e8tes. Le groupe a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 en France en 1989, et a vu passer depuis, 700 jeunes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 12 \u00e0 22 ans. Leurs spectacles ne sont pas cantonn\u00e9s \u00e0 un seul style musical, mais m\u00e9langent rock&rsquo;n&rsquo;roll, reggae, jazz et rap, tout on mettant en avant lors des concerts les valeurs de citoyennet\u00e9 et d&rsquo;antiracisme, ainsi qu&rsquo;en t\u00e9moigne la revue de presse du groupe. Ils ont enregistr\u00e9 3 albums depuis 1994. Ce groupe de jeunes chanteurs fran\u00e7ais est arriv\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis pour jouer et faire passer le message contre le racisme \u00e0 travers le pays. Ils ont pass\u00e9 2 jours \u00e0 Farmington (Maine) avant de se rendre \u00e0 Boston pour une s\u00e9rie de concerts.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lorsque les jeunes artistes ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 chanter, leurs voix \u00e9taient si magnifiques que les spectateurs se sont demand\u00e9s, parfois \u00e0 haute voix, s&rsquo;ils n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas face \u00e0 des anges venue toucher et \u00e9mouvoir leur \u00e2me. La premi\u00e8re partie du concert de la soir\u00e9e comprenait un court spectacle de chant et de danse, avec le public qui applaudissait au rythme de la musique. La suite \u00e9tait absolument enthousiasmante, les voix des chanteurs et chanteuses donnaient la chair de poule et faisaient m\u00eame se lever de leurs si\u00e8ges les spectateurs.<br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Les arrangements sophistiqu\u00e9s int\u00e9graient largement claviers et percussions, la tout parfaitement mis en valeur par l&rsquo;excellente acoustique du lieu. Mais ce sont v\u00e9ritablement les voix des chanteurs et chanteuses qui \u00e9taient l&rsquo;attraction de l\u00e0 soir\u00e9e.
